Everyone hates books they are forced to read in school, but the first time I ever liked a book was 7th grade. It was AFTER 7th grade, but I read the book then and later reflected on it and thought it was cool. I think it was called "Homecoming." DICEYYY!
The Spiderwick Chronicles when I was about 10 years old.
Cara
Well when I was really young I loved a series called 'The Magic Treehouse'. They were awesome!
But once I got older, of course Harry Potter.

Well, the first novel I have ever actually read was 'To Kill a Mockingbird', I became very interested when reading this. Sadly, I have to sit my controlled assessment associated with this novel, in a few days.

Harry Potter the only book i read that was decent :D
Probably, most of Tom Clancy's books. The first book i read was one of his "The hunt for red October" and later on as a pubescent teen girl my first crush was on "Jack Ryan", a fictional character made up by Tom Clancy him self, BUT! My favorite book in the series would have to be "the teeth of the tiger" that had "Jack Ryan Jr." the son of "Jack Ryan" in a pre-9/11 world.
IN short, Tom Clancy's books are a great read. These books have been pretty big in my life, and i would like younger generation to have the same experience i did with these books.
RIP Tom Clancy
Conspiracy series are good
Kissed by an angel

I like detectives, so books about Sherlock Holmes!
I started reading The Hunger Games when I was at school. I was so interested in this book that I read it completely in one night. The next day I went to the library and took the other two parts. And for the next 2 days I read them all. By the way, this is where my love for anti-utopia and post-apocalyptic began. I still really like these genres, although it's hard to find new interesting books every time.
