Bug with shop?

I wanted to post this is the bugs subforum but it didn't seem to let me. Anyway I noticed when you click on an item there's an option to "buy from shop". I figured it's function was to redirect you to where it is in the shop but it never seems to do that for me. If that wasn't it's intended purpose then I'd suggest it be added because I think it would be a great tool for finding items in that huge catalogue.
