Battle Banzai Furniture Help?

Hi, so I was going to make a "Battle Banzai" game, I literally bought everything but I just can't seem to get the tiles to light and work with the score board. I've looked at a million different Youtube videos to try to figure out what I've done wrong. To be more specific, I start the timer, and the tiles light but when I jump on them with the Banzai Bouncer thing, they won't change colors. I was wondering if maybe I did something wrong or is this maybe a glitch? Is anyone else having this problem, and does anyone know how to fix it?
