Yeah I'd have to agree with you on the functionality of whiterun, but Solitude looks much cooler.
Yeah, also it's fun to shoot the seagulls in solitude. I'm sure many a people have trained with bows and projectile magic on them there seagulls.

Not really. Seagulls don't give any exp that I have noticed. Maybe if you just made a character but how the fuck would you even get to Solitude that quick haha.
