Fresh Catfish?

Hey guys, I'd just like to start off this post with a little about myself and why I aim to do this before I get to the main point of what I'm writing about.

My name is Mallory, I'm from Rhode Island, USA. I spent most of my childhood moving around and have even moved to Germany for a year and a half, things got crazy but eventually we settled down here about two and a half years ago. My dad is a retired Military veteran which is the reason for us moving. Because of all of this moving, I had a rough time making friends. I resorted to the internet, where I've made some of the best friends I've ever had and I'm extremely appreciative of it.

I became interested in a show called Catfish on MTV from the first season, and have always wanted to do something like Nev and Max do, expose fakes. It's pretty awesome.

Hopefully I don't get banned for this, I'm just documenting everything I see. I'm sure it'll be a source of entertainment for some people too.

ONE DAY, ON AN AVERAGE DAY OF PLAYING FRESH;
I get one of those annoying ass invites that people use to send stupid shit to everyone on their friends list;
but this one.... this one was seemingly average but I felt different about this...



It's a message from this person, telling me to message them on kik?
I was really bored, so I decided to actually *look* them up, and their profile set off an alarm in my head.



I thought to myself, this dude is too hot to be playing on fresh.... So I decided to start my investigation!

First, reverse image searched the kid... And you won't be surprised at what's happened here.

SIXTY TWO RESULTS?! Without a doubt he's fake.

After scrolling down (I didn't screenshot this) I found that it's some tumblr model named Brandon Telez, so before confronting catfish, I googled his name, this is what came up at the top, and as I scrolled down, more pictures of him came up. But you know, I only screenshotted the top because constantly taking screenshots down the page would sooort of be a waste of space, soz.



After this happened, I decided to message him on Fresh but to no prevail, s/he logged off.



Long story short, I ended up messaging him on kik, he claimed to be this "Jake" dude, called him out for actually being Benjamen and I got blocked.
